We live in Selah, Washington located in the heart of Washington’s Wine country. Fred and Karon were raised breeding and showing American Quarter horses. We continued to do so when we were first married and starting our family.  Both of us had many breeds of dogs as we grew up and in the early years of our marriage. Then my sister introduced us to the Bernese Mountain Dog. Slowly the horses were replaced with these incredible, big, love sponges. Fred began showing our first male Bernese as I was showing our Norwich Terrier. Our sons, Bryce and Chase, participated in Junior Handling. Soon our Bernese population grew and Fred began handling professionally. The four Thomas’ family hobby quickly became Four-T’s Bernese Mountain Dog. We are members of the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of America, Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Oregon, and the Yakima Valley Kennel Club.

Four-T’s Bernese Mountain Dogs consists of the four Thomas’ and of course our family of beautiful Bernese Mountain Dogs.  Below Left to Right (Top Row): Bryce, Karon, Fred and Chase (Bottom Row) Rosie, Cricket, Cooper, Seadra, Maxi and Duke.

All of our litters are carefully planned with dogs that compliment each other and represent only the finest qualities of the breed. Our dogs are family companions living in our house. All are exhibited by us at AKC (American Kennel Club) and CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) shows. Certifications include hips and elbows through OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals), eyes through CERF (Canine Eye Registry Foundation), heart, thyroid, and vWD (von Willebrand's Disease). Only those with sound temperaments are bred.
